Do You Eat Like a Leopard Gecko?

Shaggy and Velma, our Leopard Geckos are a permanent resident of our rock room. With Fred, the bearded dragon, we almost have the whole cast of Scooby Doo! Can you tell that is our favorite cartoon? Shaggy and Velma are both carnivores because they only eat meat but, not the same meat that you and I eat. Their favorite meal is crickets and worms, nice fat, juicy worms! YUCK!

In the wild you will find Leopard Geckos in the rocky deserts of Asia. Can you find Asia on a map? They are nocturnal which means they hide and sleep during the daytime and come out to hunt at night. Geckos can loose their tail to help to protect them from predators and can actually grow it back!
