Sky and Sun, our beautiful parakeets gave us a wonderful surprise yesterday morning! Can you look in the picture and find what it was?

You are right! They laid an egg. Parakeets lay one egg every other day until they are done laying. Most parakeets will lay between four to eight eggs in a clutch.
